Project Overview
Cooking Oil ATM
An affordable, hygienic cooking oil dispensing system designed for low-income communities.
“Innovation is not about complexity. It is about solving the right problem simply.”
The problem is simple and devastating: low-income families buy cooking oil in small, overpriced plastic sachets that create massive waste and often contain adulterated product. Our solution is elegantly mechanical—a community dispensing machine where users bring reusable containers and purchase quality oil by volume at fair prices.
Our youth engineering team is finalizing the prototype: stainless steel reservoir, calibrated flow meter, coin and card payment system, and tamper-proof locking. The unit will be solar-powered for off-grid operation and maintained by trained scout technicians.
